The Bharat Club is an organization of Indian expatriates living in Malaysia.  The club has been active since 1974 and membership currently stands at over 200 members.  Indian citizens and Malaysians of Indian origin are welcome to join.

The present patron of the club is His Excellency, Mr. Vijay Gokhale, High Commissioner of India to Malaysia.

Ordinary membership of the club is open to all citizens of India residing in Malaysia holding a valid work permit. Other persons including Malaysians of Indian origin are also invited to join the club. Corporate bodies can also hold corporate membership in our club and can nominate ordinary members.

The club has organized 10 charity events in 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1994, 1998, 2001and 2005. The proceeds from these events, totalling more than 350,000 Malaysian Ringitt, have been distributed to more than 30 different charitable institutions in India and Malaysia.
